Volya’s Student Matinee – October 10

Edmonton’s own Volya! Ukrainian Dance Ensemble is pleased to announce that a special edition of their 25th anniversary production, “The Freedom Lives On”, will be held on October 10. This Matinée Performance for Students features exciting dances that will appeal to students of all ages, as well as a feature performance by the Dnipro Academic Ukrainian Folk Ensemble from Kyiv, Ukraine. The performance will be held in central Edmonton to minimize transportation costs, and the morning start time has been selected to accommodate classes on a half-day trip within the city, as well as classes traveling from outside of Edmonton that may elect to pair the performance with another activity to make a full-day trip.
By attending this performance, teachers can expect students from elementary, junior high, and senior high levels to expand and their understanding in several curricular areas.
